Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese

Founded in Brooklyn, New York, Roberta’s began as a small pizzeria in 2008. It gained fame for its artisanal pizzas and unique atmosphere, quickly becoming a beloved destination, celebrated for its high-quality ingredients and community vibe.

The Original Roberta’s Opens

Roberta’s opened in 2008 inside a humble cinderblock warehouse in Bushwick, Brooklyn. What began as a neighborhood spot quickly grew into an internationally recognized culinary destination and a hub for creative entrepreneurship.

2018

West Coast Expansion

Roberta’s expanded to the West Coast with the opening of our first permanent Los Angeles location at Culver City’s Platform complex in September 2018, followed shortly by a Studio City outpost.

2020

Nashville Roots

Roberta’s made its Nashville debut as a pop-up in 2020. The overwhelming response led to permanent roots, with a full-service restaurant in East Nashville and an R Slice location in the historic Arcade downtown.

2021

Domino Park

Roberta’s opened at Domino Park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, bringing our signature pizza to the waterfront.

Penn District

Roberta’s continued its expansion with a location in the Penn District, just steps from Madison Square Garden.

Meet The Team

Brandon Hoy

cO-founder

Hailing from Napa Valley, Hoy honed his chops (literally and figuratively) at legendary St. Helena butchery, Ernie’s Meats, before moving to New York and entering the nightlife scene. He is actively involved in the Brooklyn food community, having also co-founded the 40,000 sq. ft urban garden, Brooklyn Grange.

Carlo Mirarchi

Co-Founder, chef

Carlo Mirarchi is the chef and co-founder of Roberta’s and Ezio’s. Known for his bold, seasonal cooking and wood-fired techniques, Mirarchi has helped build Roberta’s into an internationally recognized brand. His work spans multiple restaurants, a national frozen pizza line, and frequent appearances at leading culinary events and festivals around the world.
